I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Optiver (New York, NY) in Aug 2025
Interview
The OA have three parts, first one is quick answer for math problems (most are related to prob, the second part is also math problems (more difficult). The last part is small games, there’s no time limit, so it may take a lot of time to play.
The process is hard but exciting. The first online assessment contians bits of coding, quick game skills aswell as logic tests. Overall a good process, but very challenging. D d
OA is extremely difficult.
Two medium questions and one hard question.
Followed by lots of probability and statistics questions.
Then logic questions.
Finally the game, which is the easiest part.
