I had several thoughtful and engaging conversations throughout the interview process, including multiple interviews and a discussion with senior leadership. The team I spoke with was clearly passionate about their mission and the impact of their work.
Unfortunately, after significant time and engagement, communication stopped without closure or follow-up. Given the company’s focus on improving communication within school systems, the lack of clear communication during the candidate experience felt misaligned.
I believe this is an area where the organization could strengthen its process by ensuring candidates receive timely updates or closure, especially after multiple rounds of interviews. Clear communication goes a long way in reflecting a company’s values, both externally and internally.
