Interview
I had an initial phone screening with a recruiter, who then scheduled me for an hour long Zoom meeting with a regional sales manager the following week.
That went well, and then I progressed to a 30 minute interview with another sales manager. After finishing that, I was asked to move to the final round present a demo to the sales team the following morning,
instead of later on in the week. I had to stay up late and put together a slide deck and give a demo presentation of Paycom, and then do cold calls for 4 hours after that while being supervised by the manager.
During the cold call portion of the interview, the sales manager asked if I could come back later on that day to finish the interview because she had a maintenance issue at her home she needed to figure out.
I came back several hours later to finish the last 30 minutes of cold calls. At the conclusion, of the interview, I was told I would hear a hiring decision a couple days later.
It has been 12 days and I still haven’t heard anything from the recruiter or the sales manager, or anyone else at Paycom.

Strung me along through the interview process only to say they were going with someone else after basically telling me I had the job. Then heard that they were starting the interview process with someone I knew indicating they were not going with someone else.
