I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (New York, NY)
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn and I was intrigued by her message so I decided to reply. Had a great phone screen and moved on to the Manager phone screen. Conversation went great and moved on to meet in person. Had another great conversation/interview and thought we would work great together. Prior to leaving the only thing he said he would have to figure out is if he wants to bring someone on board without specific HR software experience. Said I would hear a follow up before the weekend. The weekend came and went and heard nothing. After a week I decided I would reach out to get an update. As I'm writing the follow up a generic email came through "thanks but no thanks, we found other qualified candidates etc". It was a bit upsetting that up until that email, I had great communication with recruiter. I decided to still email the recruiter and manager asking for feedback. At this point I'm not sure if it truly was because I didn't have industry experience or was there something else that I did/ did I not do well on test? 2 weeks go by and neither one of them responded back. I decided to contact the recruiter via LinkedIn message to ask once again if she had feedback because I saw the role posted again for my city via LinkedIn and NOTHING. From a company that prides itself on being a great place to work etc, this lack of professionalism tells a different story. I wanted to come here to write a review to give feedback to someone about this then I started reading other reviews of people that this happened to as well. If anything, please change your culture when it comes to giving feedback.
It was 2:1 interview style
They asked questions about previous sales expirence and relationship building. They were very clear on the role, and were open to any questions. I personally asked a lot and they were chill but respectable people
Many interview steps but overall a good process. You will need to do a mock presentation and conduct many meetings including Director, VP, SVP, recruiter, and day in the life with another account executive
Great interview process, the leader is great in this area. Great culture as well and enticing package for this HCM account executive roles. Four different interview meetings for this role
