      Entry Level Implementation Consultant Interview

      28 May 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Arlington Heights, IL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paylocity (Arlington Heights, IL) in May 2014

      Interview

I applied on their website and was contacted by HR the next day. The recruiter was very friendly and set up a phone screen. That went well and then a phone interview with the hiring manager and director was set up for a few days later. Had that gone well and in person interview would have occurred. Unfortunately I didn't do as well in the phone interview. Overall I felt that they were very respectful of candidate's time in keeping them updated on what's going on so you're not wondering.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

HR asked me what I was making and was quite surprised. Apparently I'm underpaid. No kidding!

      Entry Level Implementation Consultant Interview

      18 Dec 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boise, ID
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Boise, ID) in Dec 2015

      Interview

I applied online and they got back to me within a week. First they we had a phone interview which lasted about 30 minutes. They asked the basics: how did you find out about the job, tell me about yourself, etc., as well as a few behavioral questions. The recruiter did a very nice job explaining the basics about the position and the company. Once that was finished, I had to take a Divine Personality test online as well as fill out another formal application. Next was the in-person interview the following week. I sat down with the person who would have been my supervisor, and it was basically a longer version of the phone interview (maybe about 45 minutes). More behavioral questions, more explanations about the company and position. I did not get to move on past this stage, probably because my background wasn't the right fit for the position (they were looking for people with call center experience, I didn't have that). If I had moved on, there would have been one more phone interview with the boss of the supervisor. It's a shame it didn't work out, the people I met were very professional and they seem to love their jobs. It looks like a great company to work for and I'll continue to keep my eye on them.
