No salary range or information was given at all, however the application form required you to submit your salary expectations for the role and your current salary. After having read the reviews from other people of the Penguin Group on Glassdoor, it would seem that their salaries are very low (by industry comparison) so I suspect this was the main reason. I didn't hear back form my application at all except to say that I was unsuccessful. I would have very much appreciated even a small amount of feedback, as I suspect that my salary expectations were way above what they were prepared to offer for the role,. But had they been upfront about that, I wouldn't have applied and wasted mine and their time.
