I applied online. I interviewed at Penn Interactive (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2026
Interview
The early stages of this process were genuinely impressive. The recruiter was warm, responsive, and proactive — calls were booked quickly, timelines were communicated clearly, and I was progressed through each round without unnecessary delays. The people I met along the way were kind, engaged, and clearly passionate about what they're building. Those conversations were the highlight.
I reached the final round, invested significant time preparing, and left feeling genuinely enthusiastic about the company and the opportunity.
But after almost a week of final round, received a boiler plate rejection. The least I expected was to receive a a proper feedback after significantly investing time with them
I interviewed with Penn Interactive for a Product Design role and had a very disappointing experience. I first met with HR (Michael P), then completed a second interview with the hiring manager that lasted about 1.5 hours, followed by a final interview with the VP of Product Design. All interviews went well, and two weeks after the final round, I received an email from the VP saying he was still waiting on an update from the team. It has now been over two months, and I have not heard anything since.
If they decided not to move forward, the professional thing to do would have been to communicate that. After investing so much time in multiple interviews, the complete lack of follow-up is unacceptable. Overall, the process felt very disorganized, and the salary range was also on the low end for the level of experience they were seeking. I do not recommend interviewing with this company.
