The interview process for this multirole position was refreshingly dynamic—just like the role itself. Since the position sits at the intersection of a few different teams, I got to chat with the CEO, which really helped me get a feel for how everything connects. The vibe was collaborative and thoughtful—very in line with startup culture.

Interview
Spoke to an HR intern who clarified job expectations with me several times. Then, I got connected with the founder to set up a video interview over Zoom, but just even speaking to the founder over email was very odd. She criticized me over my grammar, saying I don't have 'proficiency in English,' yet she spelled her own intern's name wrong a previous email (and the word English). In general, the founder was very rude and her communication seemed quite rushed and hyper-critical of the candidate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself, and also explaining the concept of what the company does.
Planet Cents expects people to present themselves professionally. Clearly, this was not the case since several emails and LinkedIn messages filled with typos indicate that an individual does not meet basic standards. Someone without self-awareness or accountability for their performance, is not a fit for us.

Interview
Nice it was learned a lot about the org in the interview itself. Lot of things are there to learn and understand in the company. And it has a very good culture.
