I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pluralsight (New York, NY) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process went very quickly (1.5-week process, 1-week hiring decision) and the team was very assuring and kind throughout. It felt like a mutual conversation to assess my level and skills and see if I was a good fit for the team vs a test meant to trip me up. The company seems to have a good value system in place that drives the hiring process. The interviewers really put me at ease throughout.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do I approach teamwork, dealing with conflict, technologies I work with / am interested in. The final interview was a 3-hour code pairing session with the manager and senior engineer. We went through a full-stack (node, GraphQL, React) task designed to mimic real situations they might encounter/work on.
I applied online. I interviewed at Pluralsight (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2021
Interview
They where quick to respond to my resume submission and where super responsive in responding to my e-mails. The actual interview process consisted of four parts. A phone screening, zoom meeting with Dev, a home assignment, and a final four hour interview.
Overall it was a very positive interview and learning experience.
