Step 1 - Recruiter Interview
Step 2 - Direct Manager Interview
Step 3 - Head of Sales Interview
Step 4 - Head of Sales Continuation Interview
Step 5 - 30-60-90 Day Plan Presentation Call
Step 6 - CEO Interview
Step 7 - In Person Interview with Manager of Sales Development and Training
Step 8 - In Person Head of Sales Interview
Step 9 - Same Day In Person Head of Sales Interview (after waiting 45 minutes while he was on a "20 minute sales call")
The in person was supposed to be meeting with just the Head of Sales from 1-1:45 PM, but with the change they made once I arrived, the meeting lasted from 1-3:15 PM with nearly 1 hour of waiting. This was an added step than what was originally proposed as the process.
Didn't extend an offer after over 15 hours invested in the process and wouldn't provide any constructive feedback. This company is suspect to say the least and the leadership team is clearly dysfunctional based on their clear lack of respect for me as a candidate and inability to keep an Enterprise Sales team.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Preparis (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2016
Interview
The first part of the interview was simply a phone call with the current implementation specialist to review in more detail the role and vision of the available position. She reviewed what a typical day looked like for her, where they currently had limitations and why they are hiring for this position. I was allowed to ask questions but it never felt like an interview.
After two weeks I was asked to come in for an in person interview, which started 30 minutes late. I interviewed with three different people, which was more of a conversation than anything. Afterward I was told they would follow up once all interviews were done. I received an email about two weeks later asking for my salary requirements and received an email back advising all applications and interviews were completed and they were interested in hiring me. I was then offered the position on a Wednesday and I advised I needed time to review and would have a decision to them by Monday. On that Monday I received an email advising an internal candidate had applied over the weekend and the candidate was qualified and they like to promote from within. Simply put they were redacting their offer. While the people were very friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back, the last minute retraction of their offer left me feeling put off by Preparis. To work for a company that so easily went back on their offer doesn't provide me with confidence for a future relationship.
