When I arrived at the hospital’s front desk, the security guard was very cordial and rapidly communicated with the person who was to interview me. I was told to wait, and as soon as my interview time came up, (11:30 a.m.), I was told that the interviewer was ready to see me. Upon entering my interviewer’s office, I felt a sense of warmth, and that made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. She was kind, soft-spoken, and got straight into the interview with questions that were relevant to the nursing position I was applying for. She tested my critical thinking skills, and I really liked that she did that, because it gave me an opportunity to show her that I am more than capable of thinking critically. I can honestly say that overall, I am very pleased with the entire process prior to, during, and after the interview. The interview was short and to the point, and I really appreciate that, as I felt like she not only valued her own time, but my time as well. I’m looking forward to returning to SCHCC!
