I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Providence (Mobile, AL) in Jun 2016
Interview
The hospital hosted an RN job fair, so I went to it & had a chance to speak to several of the nurse managers from units all over the hospital. Once I picked the unit I was most interested in applying for, I filled out an online application & followed up with an interview with the 2 managers on the unit about a week later. It was very easy going and informal. I felt comfortable with them right away!

Question 1
Have you cared for stroke patients? What are the signs of stroke and what would you do if your patient started exhibiting those signs?
The interview took place over teams. They asked behavioral based questions and wanted specific examples from your own experience for each question. The whole process took about 20 minutes. I was nervous at first but the people interviewing me were friendly.
Panel interview based on each unit. Mostly you can choose your preference or whichever unit has more openings. Panel interview ranges from 3-5 people who will ask questions about yourself.
