      Programme Analyst Interview

      28 Sept 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Lakeland, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Lakeland, FL) in Sept 2017

      Interview

I applied online for the position. A few days later after applying I was selected to take an at home assessment that is essentially an IQ test, with some questions designed to test a programmers mindset (think if else statements). After taking the test I was scheduled for an in person interview. The interview was a group of people on the team I would be applying for. They asked mostly technical questions to which you just had to verbally respond, no whiteboarding or coding in person. Most questions were web based and if you know a decent amount of basic to intermediate web programming knowledge you will be in good shape. See questions I listed below.

      Interview questions [5]

      Question 1

What is a strength and weakness?
      Answer question

      Question 2

      What is a relational database?

      14 Jan 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Lakeland, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Publix (Lakeland, FL)

      Interview

The .net programmer position advertised was really a real IT help desk role. I found that out during the interview process and they said "Yeah this is a developer position but it is good to know .net but we provide support as well. I wish these people were upfront about the position. It was a total waste of time. I Didn't hear back from them and I was glad since this was really a help desk role and not a developer role like advertised.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

If a program hangs and you want to see what processes are running, what will you open in windows? Task manager. No questions at all related to .net.
