The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2011
Interview
The interview wasn't bad. They ask general questions like where you've worked before/describe a time you succeeded. There was only one interview, then 3 weeks passed no word, so I assumed I didn't get the job. I got a call finally and they offered me the position. It's not hard to get hired here.....but once hired I got almost no hours, noticed that many employees got preferential treatment and felt judged. I worked mostly by myself with little product/policy knowledge and did not enjoy it so I quit. It may not be like this everywhere, but don't expect a perfect dream job when hired at this company, as they over hire and expect most new employees to quit shortly after being hired.
The store manager asked for introduction first and asked some questions regarding to previous experiences. They were quiet kind and explained the main responsibilities of the role and a short description of their ideal candidates.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren

Interview
A quite laid back interview, asked the basic questions about previous experience, and some scenarios about difficult customers and how I would handle them in a correct manner while maintaining good customer service
