I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (Myrtle Beach, SC) in Oct 2011
Interview
The interview starts off as a group interview then leads to a second interview with the General Manager. The turn over rate is so high that the HR manager who interviews you first could be different by the time you interview. The general manager interview is basically a review of information so you are already hired if you make it to the second interview
The interview process was inefficient, and needlessly long. I spoke to 4 people about the role and it took months, wish the process had been more streamlined and more clarity on timeline.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How will you keep yourself motivated about the work we do?
open dialogue, conversational, personal in style and wanted to ascertain if I would fit the team more than technical skills, approachable and made an effort to be put at ease
I applied online. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (Woodburn, OR) in Jan 2021
Interview
It was nice and relax, asked basic questions, and got job offer on spot. I did get referred by a recruiter. No need to stress about it, just be professional and for the dress code I would say casual business.
