      Branch Manager Interview

      16 Jun 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Nashville, TN
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Randstad US (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2010

      Interview

Waste of time, very "color" oriented. Was made promises that were not followed up on. Hiring manager became very defensive when I expressed some concerns. Former employees had advised me not to consider work with them. A lot of pressure and back stabbing- you have to sell the account and service it all in a day's work- not enough clients and internal consultants fight over them..I would never work for a company who treated you as you had no right to question matters and voice concerns.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Randstad US

      Interview

I was approached on LinkedIn by someone in a management position. I had a total of 5 separate phone calls in a one and a half month span. After my final call I received a very promising email from Lori Krogel, Sr. Vice President, stating that she would reach out to me that coming Friday with a decision. After multiple follow up attempts, three weeks had passed when I came to the conclusion that I had been ghosted. It actually came as a surprise that someone in that position with so much tenure would conduct themselves in such an unprofessional manner and it speaks volumes about the company but I am glad to have learned this during the interview process rather than potentially accepting a position with a company that embodies this tye of behavior.

      Branch Manager Interview

      15 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Randstad US (Austin, TX) in May 2019

      Interview

I applied for the role through LinkedIn. I received a callback a month later. The first interview was with a recruiter who was awesome the entire way through this process. She was very informative and always wanted to set you up for success no matter who I interviewed with. Afterwards I had a phone interview with the VP of sales in the market (decision maker) that phone interview went well so we scheduled a time to meet face to face. The face to face interview we had went well asked normal questions and they also explained the expectations of the job. When I had applied for the role they had two opening for two different positions based on my experience and the interviews they chose to move forward with me as a Branch Manager when now it seems I should have interviewed as a Staffing Manager. After the face to face again it was confirmed that I’d be interviewing for the Branch Manager and I would be notified of next steps after the VP came back from PTO. The next steps were meeting with a current Branch Manager and feeling out the position and ask any additional questions you may have. Maybe a few days after I was instructed I’d have a phone interview with the SVP. I completed that phone interview. Then there was another delay due to another PTO time off the VP had. I had my last interview with the current Staffing Managers I’d be leading. After all this I was finally informed I wasn’t selected for the role after all these interviews. The reasoning was due to my staffing experience. My resume was the same resume from the beginning. I was a little confused as to why I went through all these meetings and interviews if that was the case. Either way I am not bitter and I appreciate the time they spent with me throughout the process. I hope they find the right person for the job. Just smooth out the process.
