Interview
Interview Process Description: Applied for Sr. PM. Process included a 30-min recruiter screen and a 30-min Hiring Manager interview covering background and behavioral questions.
Pros: Positive initial interaction with a highly responsive and accommodating recruiter. Appreciated the opportunity given to discuss background and ask questions early on. The company's structured approach (e.g., having a handbook) is a positive signal.
Cons: Significant confusion arose due to inconsistent information about the role's focus. The vague job description, the recruiter's description, and the Hiring Manager's description each presented different pictures of the scope and responsibilities. This misalignment dominated the HM interview as clarification was needed, making relevant preparation difficult and likely impacting the assessment negatively. (As clear from Hiring Manager's responses and tone, which is expected]
Advice to Management: Greater clarity in job descriptions is needed. Crucially, ensure recruiters and hiring managers are perfectly aligned on the role definition they communicate to candidates to allow for fair evaluation and a more positive interview experience.
While no individual was wrong from their perpective, overall process became messy and what ended up happening is I looked like a fool/unserious to hiring manager , I felt hiring manager round was too judgemental on my questions provided I am caught between miscommunication (which HM would not know]
and while recruiter round was super positive, this misaligned soured the overall experience looking back.

Tell me about one of successful projects (and then QnA and deep dive into specifics)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Remote (Singapore) in Apr 2025
Interview
There are six rounds of interviews, starting with a 30-minute HR screening call, followed by a 30-minute hiring manager interview, a product deep dive exercise with async feedback, a 45-minute peer interview, a 30-minute VP of Product interview, and finally, a bar-raiser interview.
The interview process was clearly communicated and well-organised. Interviewers were professional and respectful, always giving ample time for the candidate to ask questions. Regretably, the interview process started later than my other opportunities, and so I had to withdraw my application before meeting the VP of Product, as I accepted another offer.

Interview
The recruiter is amazing but the interview process is WAY too many steps. RUN. You meet with recruiter, then they want you to meet with hiring manager, then do a three hour assignment a video presenting that, and then a skip level interview, after you review the results of your assignment with a group product manager.
We're sorry to hear that our interview process felt longer than anticipated. We aim to be thorough in our candidate evaluations, but we understand the importance of timeliness. We'll take your feedback on board as we continue to refine our process.
