They communicated a lot at first until you get closer to potentially receiving an offer, at which point expect to receive more gaps in communication between steps, then be ghosted because they are not actually hiring. Being highly qualified and receiving good feedback throughout I was confused, but then I noticed their jobs are reposted over and over again with no intent to actually fill. It would be nice if companies did not waste candidates' time who take off, prepare, and are genuinely interested.
