The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Roadie (New York, NY)
Interview
Slightly long process but not overly complex and I felt it was very realistic to what you’d be expected to do on the job.
- 30 minute recruiter call
- online coding test that needs a certain score to pass
- hiring manager interview
- peer panel interview about past projects, tech stacks
- cross functional peer panel interview about collaboration, etc..
- CTO/COO interviews (separate) about culture, company, and goals.
Overall I think it was very fair for entry/mid level experience. No leetcode or system design heavy process which is pretty fair all around.
Should be able to discuss scalability, tech stack on your resume, production monitoring, SDLC process, testing, and high level overview of past projects.
I applied online. I interviewed at Roadie in Feb 2023
Interview
30 minute phone screen w/ recruiter Leetcode style test 45 minute technical panel interview 30 minute non-technical panel interview 30 minute non-technical interview w/ CTO This was an incredibly long and drawn out process just to find out I was not moving forward. Normally I would understand if this was the case but they ignored my email asking about more details to improve my future chances with other companies.
