Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Robert Walters
Roles are advertised and a request is made to email 2 dedicated HR Recruiters who work for Robert Walter's Dubai. Never any follow-up, just wasting candidate's time so they can build their database. This is also despite being well qualified for the role, in addition to being a very strong match based on LinkedIn's profile matching algorithm. All in all, a complete waste of time. Unprofessional recruiters who don't even have the decency to acknowledge receipt of an application, let alone provide any communication whatsoever. Even when pointing out a typo in one of the requested email addresses, they still do not respond. Unprofessional recruiters, lack of care about the candidate experience created, and far too focused on posting "anniversary updates on LinkedIn" or being invited to "attend a leadership meeting and present". Totally disappointed. Avoid this firm at all costs!!

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Hong Kong
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Robert Walters (Hong Kong) in Jul 2023
The interviewer first set up the interview, then on the day of the interview I received a notification that I was not suitable. I had to email that person to confirm whether the meeting was still on or not. At the interview, the lady was chewing gum and also had her chin cropped out of the screen, so disrespectful. She went through everything on my CV and about my education background. She mentioned there will be a few more interviews but wasn’t certain about how many. She also mentioned the whole process will take up to 1-2 months. Never heard back from the company since.
- asked questions about your education, the duration about each employment, etc

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Hong Kong
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Robert Walters (Hong Kong) in Jul 2023
This role is based in their Hong Kong office. I got invited to an interview on a Thursday, on the day of the interview i received an email saying that I was not a good fit for the role which was a bit confusing, then i emailed the interviewer to check what was happening - then was told to ignore the message. At the virtual interview, the lady was acting unprofessional, as i could tell she was munching on a piece of gum. She asked a lot of questions in regards to my experience and also the gaps that I had on my CV. Upon the completion of the interview, she could not provide me a defined timeline regarding the next steps and saying that I should anticipate another 3-4 rounds of interviews with multiple team heads / managers to see if I could fit in. and had to wait another 2 months for on boarding. And Of course, I did not hear back from her.
- She basically asked you everything on your CV, why interested in the role, Why Robert Walters.
