I went through a two-round interview process that started with a small group interview of about four to five candidates. In the first round, we met with two hiring managers from the department, introduced ourselves, and walked through our backgrounds and experience. After that, some candidates were dismissed and the remaining group moved on to a second round with the department president. In that round, we were asked more behavioral-style questions, and each person had the opportunity to respond. At the end, we were told we would hear back within 24 to 48 hours.
