Rockall Technologies Software Development Engineer interview questions

Initial 2 phone interviews were fine. Nice people and the cloud solution sounds very interesting. Was given an assignment and while not overly challenging, the effort to complete it required more than 1 day. It entailed retrieving market data from a REST endpoint, and then building an algorithm which used credit policies / market data and loan data to determine which loans were in default. Not overly complicated but you are expected to design / implement / test / document and deploy a fully working solution in 1 day (incredibly difficult to do and in the real world, I would most definitely scope this assignment as 2 - 3 days). No feedback is given as to why you fail the process.
