I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rune Labs in Jan 2024
Interview
1. Initial Interview - Very pleasant conversation covering the responsibilities for the role, my general experience, and what the team environment is like (stack, team size, things like that). Professional and personable, great chat overall.
2. Resume Deep Dive - More in-depth assessment of my professional experience and its overlap with the role with two members of the team. Super nice and clearly skilled people who were able to discuss specific technical aspects of QA and its value. Very cordial and informative, can honestly say I enjoyed the interview.
3. Technical Interview - QA based exercise with two technical team members. Again, friendly and knowledgeable. Personally, I thought the exercise was a great way to assess my expertise and way of thinking. Overall, I enjoyed this stage of the interview as well. Great challenge, great folks!
Bit surprised at the other reviews here to be honest but figured I'd share my experience.

Interview
HR email to set up a virtual chat with a company executive. The interviewer did not make it to the scheduled zoom call. 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, I reached out to the HR team asking if they could reschedule. I was asked for my availability for the following week and I did so immediately. I did not hear back from anyone after this, despite a follow up email. Highly disappointing given the rhetoric of inclusivity and respect for persons on their website. I was quite excited for the opportunity.
30 minute recruiter screen followed by a 30 minute manager interview. Next was a 2 hour take-home analysis exercise and a 45 minute panel interview with the whole team.
Happened very fast.
