1) Online Java Assessment (intermediate level, focused on multithreading, parallel computing)
2) Phone interview with HR (London based)
3) First technical interview with Senior Operations Research Consultants (Rome based)
4) Second technical interview with Senior Operations Research Consultant (videoconference)
I didn't hear from HR for a long time. One month after the last interview I asked for a feedback. They asked to wait for another couple of days, then forgot to reach out to me. I pinged them again, only to discover they decided I was not a good fit for the position (apparently due to lack of SW development expertise).
In my defense I never stated that I was an expert in SW development. There is nothing but the truth on my CV. Also, the position was for a junior Big Data Consultant. Also, the interviewer reported that I scored fairly well in the initial Java assessment.
If they really wanted more SW dev. expertise, they could've decided in minutes that I was not a good fit, just by glancing at my CV.
Frankly way too slow.
