Multiple rounds:
1. ~45-minute conversation with the hiring manager
2. Take home case-study that is relevant to the job. Now that I think about this case-study, they could be farming solutions out to the candidates.
3. 5, 45-minute rounds with various business unit leaders. I know it's a smaller company that is experiencing high growth, but if you need five interviews to decide whether a candidate is a fit for your team or not, then you have really not designed your interview process well. But we are in a weak labor market so anything goes I guess.
Overall, the selection did not seem to be based on logic, as the feedback given to me after the fact did not make sense. It was unclear what kind of experience and background they were looking for.
Also, the team is made up of a LOT of ex-consultants, so take that as you will.
