I applied through university. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2010
Interview
the interviewers vary. sometimes they are foreign employees and sometimes they are koreans. questions that are asked are typical boilerplate types of questions. pay packages are very standard as well. there is an attempt in the interview process to make it consulting like. one thing is that candidates of korean descent are not accepted.
the interview process is very unique and very rigorous and needs you to be very involvers and to add to this its long questions and then its 3 interview in the first round
I interviewed at Samsung Electronics (Staines, England)
Interview
Very straightforward interview process.
They were quick to process my application.
Took around 3 months start to finish.
I had an interview with a recruiter, there were 2 interviews with hiring manager and a hr interview.
Quick process. Multiple back to back interviews all scheduled in one day. It was quick and I was able to meet with key decision makers. Decision was communicated very quickly within a couple of days.
