I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SaneBox (Waxhaw, NC) in Sept 2010
Interview
The interview was conducted remotely. They asked me to do a short coding test and then we chatted via Skype. They were pretty rigorous in their questioning, but they didn't ask any stupid pointless "trick" questions. I spoke with the several people -- the CEO (who, at the time, was involved directly in the hiring process) and several engineers. After that I received an offer, which I accepted and started a few weeks later.

Question 1
They didn't ask any "trick" or "brain teaser" type questions, but you definitely have to know how to write software. They asked about my response to the coding test, and they asked a few "how would you design a system that did this ____" type questions.
