I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Royal Leamington Spa, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
Interview process was very simple. Applied online and within a few months was invited to the assessment centre down South at the beginning of January. The Assessment Centre itself is a formal suit event but has a very informal feel to it and I designed to be relaxing so there isn't too much stress beforehand. There were graduates that are currently on the scheme who go around talking about their experiences and give tips on the centre and tasks at hand.
The Centre was split into three sections:
1) Group Task
2) Presentation
3) Interview
The group task was straightforward, had to analyse data and report back on the findings as a team. The presentation is more focused on how you are able to present the data rather than the content of the slides, obviously the content is important but not as important as the way you come across when presenting it. The interview lasted 30 minutes and again had an informal feel to it, 3 questions were asked and you were given these in advance and given time to prepare an answer.
After the centre, I was invited to attend a final interview down South again at one of the office locations. Again a fairly informal feel to it as the final interview is more of a chat than an interview. Feedback from the assessment centre is given and a few personal questions are asked as well as a description of the Graduate Scheme.
