I applied online. I interviewed at SciTec (Boulder, CO)
Interview
I was asked to do a small coding project transforming data in C++. It was expected to take a couple hours, but I spent much more time than that refactoring and attempting to make it polished. The primary part of the interview was a background discussion with 4 employees from various parts of the company followed by some exceedingly simple C++ questions, then a review of my code. They could have extracted the same information from more pointed C++ questions instead of wasting my time with a coding project.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe the calling of constructors and deconstructors in when a parent and derived class objects are created.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SciTec (Boulder, CO) in Apr 2025
Interview
I went through three rounds of interviews, the last being a panel/technical interview onsite. The team was very nice, but it was clear they were looking for a broad skillset (strategy + design + development expertise) that is a bit of a unicorn. I was ghosted after the third interview.

Question 1
Questions on how to implement JavaScript frameworks, topics typical for front-end development rather than UI/UX.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SciTec in Jan 2024
Interview
Received a take home coding project. Overall time was about 5 hours and entailed mostly mathematical java coding. Unfortunately, some of output requirements (The format the data should take) was unclear. Asking for clarification(which was encouraged in the documentation) went unanswered. Received no feedback after submitting. Overall the process seemed rather unprofessional given the lack of communication.
