It wasn't excellent, but unfortunately, they didn't accept me because I didn't meet the requirements that they looked for, and they decided not to proceed with my application (despite telling them that I wanted to have more experience at hardware and I was willing to learn more)

Very relaxing interview, with supportive interview panel of two managers. Only a couple of technical questions. they were mainly interested in your people skills and ability to work as a team. When you first apply, before the interview there is a psychometric test to complete.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I interviewed at Screwfix (London, England)
Short, not well organised, didn't seem to remember I was coming, people were nice however was not as smoothly conducted as other interviews I have had. mostly competence questions as is the territory for that sort of job.
- What customer experience do you have?
Anonymous Interview Candidate in Yeovil, England
I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Screwfix (Yeovil, England) in Apr 2023
The overall experience was good everyone was friendly, and the tone of the interviews was conversational and casual. The entire process was over a month, there were two different interviews first one with a marketing Manager and a team member and the second one with the team e-commerce Manager. The head of Recruitment was in contact throughout the entire process being friendly, supportive and offering feedback. I wish the process was faster as it took quite a long time to receive an outcome and I also noticed from the 2 interviews that there are different expectations for someone in this position that didn't necessarily align.
