I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sears (Lake Grove, NY) in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview process was pretty long. I applied online, which consists of filling out the application as well as taking the computerized scenario assessment. Probably took an hour total. Once that was completed, I received an email approximately 10 days after saying that they were interviewing at their store and asked me to write down my name, phone number, email address, & days of availability. When the day came for the interview, the manager wasn't aware that I was coming but he still interviewed me. It was a very laid back interview. He gives you examples on how to answer the questions, which were very easy. Although the interview was easy I still haven't received a call back or email from the manager even though I was told by a friend (who works there & has spoken to him for me) that he would hire me.

I got a call for HR for interview and I had to complete a drug test. Afterward the in store interview was scheduled. I spoke to two managers and they just asked me a few questions. I remember a few of them catching me off guard because they were a bit more difficult to answer but some of the questions were really similar.
