      Mailroom Clerk Interview

      2 Feb 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Stevens Point, WI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Sentry (Stevens Point, WI)

      Interview

I was contacted about two days after I applied. They called me, offered sometimes for an interview and then I came in. You get shown to HR, wait for the departments supervisor(s) and then are interviewed. They go over basic duties in the department and what you can expect. They will then ask you questions which are variable depending on the department you work in. Usual questions are "What problems have you faced, how'd you work it out?" types of questions; very basic. After my interview, the supervisors left and that departments HR rep comes in, tells you about the pay, etc. You will then go through a standard drug test mouth swab and if you have no questions, you wait for a call. You usually have to wait a week for the drug test to go through, but they called me, offered the job, and I was asked to come into orientation the following week. Orientation consists of filling out some forms, watching some videos about discrimination, getting your picture taken for your ID badge, going over your benefits if you qualify, and then your supervisor will come get you and show you around your department and your day starts.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They were all very basic interview questions, nothing was unexpected or really thought provoking.
