I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ServiceNow in Nov 2020
Interview
I was quite surprised by the nature of the SNOW interview process. First, two separate recruiting firms reached out to me, and I needed to debate with one on who reached out to me first (likely for commission). Second, when I asked questions about the role to the recruiting firm, they pushed me to HR (the information they did provide - such as what group this role was a part of - turned out to be incorrect). SNOW HR spent the majority of the time asking if I'd be willing to switch given the number of RSU I was receiving, and told me to discuss the actual role with the hiring manager if I had any questions. The hiring manager gave me a 30 minute case interview, with almost no time for questions. In short, while I get that interviews are primarily to give employers confidence in the applicant, would have appreciated a slightly more "two way" experience given the nature of the reach out.
Finally, that case interview was 2 months ago now, with no update from SNOWs recruiting team on status (positive or negative). The process just feels sloppy for a company of ServiceNow's maturity. I know a number of good people at ServiceNow, so I believe these issues are likely focused on the recruiting side of the house.
I applied online. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I had 2 virtual interviews plus a panel presentation with senior leadership. I thought everything was pretty straightforward! The recruiter was on top of everything and I was always kept informed of the next steps and any delays.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you took a big initiative?
Recruiter was excellent. Friendly and straight forward. Defined the expectations of the role, provided insights into the hiring manager, and emphasized the importance of bringing your full self to work.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2024
Interview
The process included four stages in total - first a screening by HR, then a conversation with a team subject matter expert, followed by a discussion with the hiring manager, and finally a practical interview by a panel of peers and management.
