Interview
I was invited to attend the SRD. It was a two-day event and is was very challenging. The first day we gathered in Shell building and HR gave us some orientation. And later we had dinner with some employees. Nothing would be assessed in that day. Actually they are going to assess your performance when they told you. Also, if you are a non-native, they would give you some extra reading time in some assessments. The first assessment is Etray. Basically you need to read the background information for 10 to 15 minutes, and reply 12 emails in 20 minutes. The reply are all multiple choices but its not listed like A,B,C,D, etc. You need to choice which one is the most effect to reply and which response is the least effect when you reply this email.
And then comes the self-reflection, group work, case study and a final interview.
Case Study be prepared to answer questions on the spot be well prepared with the case study before hand do spend more than 90 minutes preparing before the interview. Overall if you know your stuff you will be just fine.

The case study was an extensive deep dive into multiple companies, analyzing their strategies, operations, and outcomes in detail. Each section presented unique challenges, from interpreting complex data to understanding diverse business models. Despite the effort it demanded—hours of research, critical thinking, and problem-solving—the process was incredibly rewarding. It not only expanded my knowledge but also sharpened my analytical skills and provided valuable insights into industry practices. By the end of it, the sense of accomplishment made every difficult moment worthwhile.

Only three of four questions asked, all of which very common in interviews. Interviewer was nice so made the experience comfortable. Overall a neutral experience but made me realise nothing special about the scheme
