I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Las Vegas, NV) in Nov 2012
Interview
The first interview was with a store manager, followed by an interview with a district manager who flew in to see me. The interview itself was not bad, and they in fact went over a lot of details that were helpful, including a detailed pay explanation. Overall I was very disappointed and expected a more professional face to a large company that previously I had an excellent impression of. I was very happy when I first received the offer, but quickly realized that the hiring process' pain would only be indicative of the lack of corporate support in the future.

Question 1
The store manager showed a sheet with lots of store numbers and used some jargon I wasn't familiar with, although I had been a business manager before. It was a little hard to follow and understand the Excel-type layout and listen to him.

Interview
I was an internal applicant who transferred from the store level and interviewed for the management positions. First was the phone interview with HR to tell if you were a good candidate. Standard get to know you questions, information about your background and some customer service based questions. 2nd interview was with the City manager, this interview was more in-depth with my experiences in the store level and what I hope to learn with my time here at SW. Last interview was with the District Manager, this was a shorter get to know you interview with less technical questions and more of a formality.

Interview
Contacted by a HR person, had a phone interview then a store visit to learn more about the role. In person interview with the district manager. The first phone interview is not as important as the final in person interview with the district manager, I recommend that you ask if he does has any concerns.
