Interview
The application and interview was quite easy, nothing to really be nervous about, so I don’t understand why I was not selected for the position. I’ve did grocery delivery before with Instacart, and as long as you can pass the background check, you’re pretty much good to go. I have never used a platform where you had to use hireview to interview, and not get the job on top of that. I think it’s the stupidest thing ever, it’s one thing if you are no longer hiring for the area, but to say we are going with someone else and to reapply in 6 months is crazy to me. I will not be reapplying, that’s not even worth my time for them to not hire me still. If anybody still wants to do this line of work to make good side money, try Instacart.

It was short.I applied and had to wait about two weeks because they said they were not hiring at the time but would reach out if something opened up. Answered a few short questions about how I’d handle situations and a video of myself saying my name and address.

Describe A situation where I handled a difficult situation
Thorough with multiple steps including a short video you must submit. Video if I remember was on why you would be good fit for the position. The first step was just providing qualifying info about age, driving qualifications and car condition plus proof insurance.

I have a lot of experience with instacart, Uber, DoorDash, etc and somehow I did not get accepted to be a shipt shopper??? I received an email after completing my 3 video interview responses saying that based on my responses they are not going to move forward with me. So apparently traveling the world to 26 countries and experiencing a variety of cultures and meeting tons of different kinds of people is not a good answer for “what is your proudest accomplishment?” Lol. Shipt seems like a stuck up prudent company because I’ve seen others get hired and their answer for proudest accomplishment is that they got a college degree. I have a close friend that also didn’t get accepted based on her answers and she has been a manager for multiple companies. So what makes you qualified to be a delivery person? Lol. Feels pretty disgusting. I know another girl that all she has done is television acting and somehow she got hired. Whatever shipt.
