I applied online. I interviewed at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2017
Interview
Applied online to position; was invited to an Open House event. At the Open House, there were about 20 or so applicants. Round tables were set up where we sat and were able to talk to other applicants and ask staff/managers questions. There was a presentation made by the Chief Nurse Executive, and managers were introduced. Then smaller groups were taken on a tour while others interviewed with managers. Before hand, you chose your top 3 choices.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself.
What skills/contributions from previous work experience do you bring?
Delegation questions
Why are you interested in this specific unit?
As long as you prepare for the expected job interview type questions, you should be fine.
I applied online. I interviewed at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2018
Interview
Pretty much behavioral questions for a new grad nurse. Hiring manger was very down-to-earth and transparent with her expectations and responses, it made me feel at ease with myself. That's what I liked most about the interview experience at SRALab compared to other institutions. I can say the same thing for the nursing recruiter as well.

Question 1
Why work at Shirley Ryan?
What was your favorite clinical rotation?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied online, contacted via phone call by HR recruiter about a week later, was then told to RSVP for a New Grad Open House. I was nervous the event would have a competitive vibe between applicants, but everyone was very easy-going. The staff was very welcoming and informative so I think that put us all at ease. There were about ~20 other new grad applicants, a few nurse managers, and HR people. There was a short presentation, open discussion for any questions, then they would pull new grads aside 1:1 to interview with managers in another part of the room. This was followed by a tour of building/some units. Received a call with an offer about 5 days later.
