The process began with attending a meetup at the offices. I spent some time getting to know a few of the employees present and really enjoyed my first interactions. One of the employees recommend me to management, who setup a relatively standard Product Owner phone interview. The main focus of the interview was on my experience with product development, interaction with developers, and backlog prioritization. The interview seemed to go well and I was told I would be contacted in a week or so. That was eight weeks ago and I have heard nothing since.
