Interview process
Interview process fairly very simple and easy to crack for someone from product company backgroud. Sad part is most of the new hires come from service companies. Either company dont want to hire quality people or may be since they fail to hire quality people, so hire from services.
You may experience the quality of questions being asked is not upto the standard product company interview level and also might think if the interviewer has any experience or in depth knowledge of the topic he is asking question from.
They will offer you a position less than your existing one just because they cannot judge your capability right.
HR hiring process(this is sad part)
Step 1. They look for a weakness to understand why you would want to join this company.
Step 2. They will offer you same package which you are already on.
Step 3. They will increase the offer by 10% and promise you saying they will give you hike/promotion in next few months(dont fall for this, no company just hires and gives you promotion).
Step 4. Rest depends on your negotiation skills, but this company cries while giving hikes, not just while recruitment but also in appraisal cycles.
Do join this company if you are from any service company and want to grow.
Do not join this company if you want to do something cool or learn something new.
