I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Skyscanner (London, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
One of the best interviews I have been through so far. Started with an introductory call with the HR Talent acquisition and must say that person was most supportive through out the process. Honestly I did not expect such an engagement from HR because of my past experience s with other companies. So the first round was a take home tech challenge but time boxed. There was a choose between a fullstack project or another one(don't know what's the other one cos I chose the full stack right away). Must admit it takes a bit of time but nothing hard though. Submitted the solution and got the response next day. super fast review considering it was a meaty one to review, yet provided feedback with good and bad things about the solution. I made it through
The HR person called me after this round to give me a detailed feedback and next set of rounds and processes. She briefed me about the approach, style of interview etc and made me a bit more comfortable. Next interviews which consisted of a culture round and a walkthrough of a complex project I have worked on were scheduled and it was a VC interview. Almost immediately towards the end of both the interviews I knew I would be successful and the feedback confirmed the same. Again the HR person was in constant touch withe through emails and got the feedback for me the very next day.
Now comes the hardest part, final set of interviews that consist of a culture round, 2 rounds of one hard problem each. Basically system design. Front-end hard problem was a cake walk but the back end was very challenging. Managed to clear all three and again I was given the good news the very next day.
I must say it is very hard to keep focus on intensive interview process like this but the HR person kept the communication channel alive at every moment and that provided a huge source of motivation.
Depth of expertise - Interviewer asks you to take them through your recent project and dives deep into few sections. Questions were majorly around Scale, Performance monitoring and things to improve.

Very pleasant interview process. It is a 3 step process, the first part speaking about a project you've worked on. Then followed by 2 back to back interviews: a system design interview and a culture fit.
You don't interview with anyone with the team throughout the whole process. But I believe they give you the chance to speak to the manager of the team if they make an offer.
There was no programming exercise which I found refreshing and nice.
Nice and easy interview process. 1 screening round, system design and behavioural round. System design round went well. I came to know behavioural had lower scoring but then turned out positive.
