I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Boston, MA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Slalom reached out to me years ago, but I was interested in getting out of consulting. When I wanted to jump back in, I re-initiated contact with the recruiters. The process seemed long (had 3 or 4 interviews) but was very rapid in retrospect.
Timing is everything! We love hearing about Slalom/candidate interactions that didn't initially turn into a hire coming back around to one that did. Thank you for sharing - we're thrilled you thought of Slalom when you were ready to get back into consulting.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
I applied online. I interviewed at Slalom (Santa Monica, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
