I applied through a recruiter. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Slalom
Interview
Slalom's interview process was different from all other interview processes I experienced. The reason is primarily because Slalom wasn't looking for me to fill a specific role; as a consulting firm, they wanted to make sure that I was a fit for the overall office/company, rather than a single position. This goal translated into long conversations, meeting multiple team members over a long duration, rather than feeling rushed through the process.

Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
I applied online. I interviewed at Slalom (Santa Monica, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
