They just wanted creative assets to steal.
The first interview seemed ok. Normal kinds of questions. Then the interviewer (not HR, I think she was a part of the mkt team) told me they were gonna send me an exercise I needed to do than needed to deliver within an agreed time.
Surprise surprise, even though the job description wasn't focused on the creative part, they asked me to send copies, banners, and landing page designs, for a specific blog of theirs and a webinar. This seemed odd to me at first, but of course I did it.
So when I sent the finished document, I got a message from the interviewer saying "thanks, I'll show it to the marketing team I we'll get back to you". Well, it's been to weeks, and I already sent an email asking for an update, and nothing. I know that selection processes take time but normally from the asignments you get feedback soon enough.
Be careful, because I see them posting the same job position with a different name weekly and in different parts of Latin America. So I think they are just taking advantage of us. And given comments I've seen here about the CEO being xenophobic and racist, this wouldn't surprise me.
