Smule Engineer interview questions

Waste of time. Applied online. Interviews dragged on over holidays. Recruiter telephone screen, phone interview with hiring manager, video interview with architect. Architect indicated interview went well and I should hear about on-site, but never did. Followed up with recruiter. Claims my salary ask - which was well below market - was "too high". This is something that should have been determined when I discussed salary in the first two interviews. The reality is they use an off-shore team; they really don't want to hire or pay for a local engineer.
