Interview
Disorganised, disrespectful and ultimately a pretty jarring experience that has left me distrusting of interview processes via recruiters.
The Interviews themselves were actually good.
Everything else around it was horrible. Feedback was confusing, contradictory and I later found riddled with lies.
I was also expected to prepare a presentation for my final interview with just 2-3hrs notice of the interview.
I had to repeatedly chase for feedback after my final interview and heard every excuse in the book to delay and deadlines to receive a decision missed multiple times. The received feedback was at complete odds to the discussions we’d had in the interviews.
I later spoke to a director to raise my concerns with the process who confirmed there had been dishonesty in the process and promised to follow up with me. I was then ghosted despite several emails.

Question 1
Technical questions on node js.
Presentation on how your ways of working align with their “values”.
Hello there! I'm Erica, Head of People & Culture at Space 48.
I'm really sorry that your impression and experience of us hasn't been great, and I'd be interested to hear a little more so that we can make improvements where needed. If you'd like to share any details with me (in confidence) by emailing hello@space48.com, I'd love to hear from you.
Went through CV history, had a chat about company and what I was looking for. Then the technical stage where they asked various questions on javascript and CSS. Feedback given was they felt I could give longer answers, which made no sense since I asked often if I answered the question and plus they can ask any further/probing questions if they really wanted to find out if I knew more. Bad interviewers in my opinion. Plus they still use SASS with React and barely got to grips with Agile, so not sure they should be passing judgement on people's levels.
