      Interview

      After watching a conference online, I contacted SpaceX by email. First interaction with HR submitting you resume. Then got scheduled for a first phone interview mostly based on system questions which went well. Then got scheduled for a second phone interview mostly based on C++ questions and some questions about CUDA.

      The process consisted of two phone screens, one with a hiring manager and one with a senior engineer, and an onsite interview. The first call included behavioural and technical questions and the second call was almost exclusively technical.

      I interviewed at SpaceX (Brownsville, TX)

      Interview

      Started with a recruiter screening with 3 technical questions, then had a 30 minute technical interview with a manager followed by a 30 minute technical interview with a director. After that got an on site interview which consisted of a 30-minute technical presentation and then 5 one-on-one technical interviews/techinical walk-and-talks with various engineers, managers, and directors.
