I made it through two phone interviews, one with a recruiter and one with the hiring manager. The recruiter asked basic questions about me, while the hiring manager asked technical questions.

In the technical interview, I was asked about an engineering project that I had worked on. A lot of hypothetical questions were asked like: applying the minimum amount of force, would the tube fail in compression or bending first?
