I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Splunk (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
Referred by an employee, quick HR screen within a day or so, chat with hiring manager the next day, interviews with 5 team members (in one day) within two weeks.
The process was pretty quick and efficient, and the communications were good. Everybody I talked to, in person or over the phone, was welcoming, knowledgeable and straightforward, and questions were relevant to the position.

Question 1
Why Splunk, and questions about relevant experience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Splunk in Nov 2020
Interview
Due to covid-19 the entire interview process was virtual. My Splunk interview started with the HR screen, we set a meeting with hiring manager, and finished with 5 one-on-one interviews. The HR screen was pretty straightforward. The hiring manager met with me to discuss and clarify the role and focused mainly on fit at Splunk. Moving to the individual interviews, all questions were well thought out, behavioral, and challenged me to think about my work and self in a unique way. Each interview had questions about how I incorporate principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in my current role and how they fit in the role I was interviewing for. The HR contact was very responsive throughout the experience (3 week process). Overall, 10/10 experience, I'm excited to join Splunk!
