Interview
It was during COVID so they had the first inerview over the phone. The second was supposed to be in the office to meet the team. I got another offer and canceled the second interview.

Series of one-to-one, casual feeling interviews followed by a project-based assessment. Had to go away and analyse some data sets to present back a short deck to a panel of interviewers. Relatively easy task

Interview
I was surprised by how unprofessional the hiring manager was during this experience. I get the sense that this company thinks a little too highly of themselves, given the negative reviews on glassdoor and what some have said of the company within the industry. What surprised me the most was her lack of interest in my background - she had made her mind up before talking to me, it seemed, which made the experience negative. Megan also seemed distracted and caught off guard by some of my questions. I hope this review encourages her to exude more kindness for people of all different backgrounds. By coming into the interview with an attitude, she made me feel like I dodged a bullet and I’m sure that isn’t the reputation Stackline is hoping for.
