I applied in-person. I interviewed at Starbucks (Riverside, CA) in Jun 2025
Interview
Brief, waited for a long time. We sat in the corner of the cafe. She was very chill and easy to talk to; I was comfortable. I was asked about my work experience and when I could work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My availability during the week and if I could work weekends.
It was short and to the point. They asked my availability and past experience working in the food industry. Since I didn’t have any, I felt it was going to prevent me from getting the job.
Usual standard process of interviewing, we went over my experience and knowledge of working as barista in coffee shops and restaurants in my previous jobs. Highly recommend as a great place to work at !!
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you've enjoyed your overall partner experience here at Starbucks!
The interview was not too bad, I had to wait a bit before getting called for my interview due to some mishaps on their end but that was really the only thing that was negative. It was fine. They called back pretty quickly
